We are a third generation New Zealand based furniture and lighting business working with some of the world’s best designs sourced here in New Zealand and from leading international brands. Joe Backhouse started the business in 1948 as a young cabinet maker and built an enviable reputation for quality handmade bespoke furniture. Today, we carry on this legacy by continuing to represent, make and sell quality and timeless pieces of design that can be loved and used by one generation and handed down to the next
