A therapeutic sequence of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises designed to work every part of the body to give all the internal organs, all the veins, all the ligaments, and all the muscles everything they need to maintain optimum health and maximum function. Each component takes care of something different in the body, and yet they all work together synergistically, contributing to the success of every other one, and extending its benefits. With your help, we select a variety of charities in the Wellington community to donate money to. The focus is on relaxing into poses and resting in them for up to 5 minutes connecting to your breath and bringing the healing benefits of yoga and relaxation. It’s great for anyone wanting to relieve stress or if you are recovering from an illness or injury

We are looking for a complimentary Health practitioner to rent one of our rooms at Yoga for People Wellington.
The other day I taught the 4pm class and the energy in the room was really strong and focused and it was fantastic to be part of class. Feeling appropriate today! The great thing with practicing the equivalent sequence each class is that you can perpetual gauge how your body is each day. As a result you could feel everyone supporting each other and busy together to create the energy and focus in the room. My knee is calm delicate in some poses and today I had to tell myself, it is only day 1 of the challenge, leave your ego at the door and appreciate the class for what it is today. It’s amazing how the energy is the room is very different from class to class.
Cornelia is at Yoga for the People Wellington on Wednesday's and Thursday's. Feeling good! aah, one week down, I can’t remember the final time I practiced 6 times in one week! And of course the classes were the same! Every pose felt hard today, it was a challenge. Yoga for the People is for every body! After her beginning Bikram class Anita was hooked and soon behind decided to leave the corporate world to whole the teacher training and share her love of the yoga with friends back home in Wellington. Future to New Zealand in slow 2007, Cornelia wanted to assist the people in her community, and so decided to start studying LCM. It was a huge time commitment I think making the time is almost more challenging than the classes themselves.
During the resist you can also feel like you are going backwards in your practice but know things are opening and changing in your body all the time. As Luke reminded us, it doesn’t matter how long you have been practicing your Bikram class is always diverse there is eternal so much to learn about your practice and yourself
