The focus of Birthright's services is the children and young persons of one parent families, although some regions include two parent and blended families also. We work with the whole family to facilitate the growth of confidence, development of living skills and a sense of independence and self help within the family unit and its individual members. all children share a birthright the right to a good start in life, help in times of crisis and the opportunity to reach their full potential. Mr Gifford's aim was to form a voluntary organisation to support and care for the children of one parent families in the community.
