What you should know about Capital E (Wellington Museums Trust)
Even a granddaughter visiting from the states thought it was amazing and thoroughly enjoyed the day. State of the art facility tutor to children ratio hours of course were perfect price was very reasonable compared to all other school holiday activities I can think of. We’re an award winning not for profit organisation based in the cultural capital of Wellington, and our focus is young people and their creativity. Our staff are an amazing array of people with a depth and diversity of skills and experience in technology, performance, education, and management. Capital E programmes explore and enhance creative thinking and action, providing both the awareness of possibilities, and the means to make them reality for children taking part. Capital E is part of Experience Wellington , a registered charity and a Council Controlled Organisation established by Wellington City Council to develop and manage Wellington’s cultural and arts assets.
Our organisation hosts a combination of unique visitor experiences that contribute to Wellington’s economy and reputation as a centre of excellence for arts, culture and creativity. Our visitor experiences are Capital E , City Gallery Wellington , Wellington Museum , Cable Car Museum , Space Place and Nairn Street Cottage. As well as offering education programmes, we invite the public to enjoy these unique experiences during the holidays and weekends. Capital E includes the National Theatre for Children, MediaLab, the OnTV Studio, Events, and our National Arts Festival.
Here at Capital E we are extremely lucky to be able to work with a number of partners whose generosity and expertise allows us to deliver our programmes
