Lauren has recently started at Expert and has a fruitful background of communications, marketing and event management. Bev’s full fledged insight into the inner workings and needs of membership organisations and the not for profit sector play as a great advantage to Expert’s team. When he’s not improving MoST software capabilities, he’ll be busy creating customised software applications for international financial markets, banks and membership organisations. When he can find a spare moment, Aaron likes to watch sci fi movies, play games with his children and tinkering about with his home built sports car. Warren’s vested career in IT began during 1998 in his home city of Cape Town, South Africa.
Starting as a desktop technician for big fashion retail chains, he then moved on to start his own IT business that provided support for small to medium business. Joining the Expert team in 2009, Warren’s current role ensures that all of the servers and the infrastructure of Expert’s hosting systems run smoothly and will soon also be working on new bespoke application developments. Warren M has worked as a Sales Consultant for a variety of leading FMCG and Media companies for over 30 years. Warren M provides the Expert team with sales and marketing insights and advises on the process of meeting client objectives and engagement.
After several years in the industry she joined the Expert team in 2001 and has never looked back. As the in house sweetheart, she is renowned for going the extra mile when it comes to helping out workmates and clients alike. As Senior Designer, Amanda designs and builds new websites for our clients and makes impressive enhancements to existing ones. She is known for her ability to take a client’s creative brief and come back with exactly what they are looking for. Evan, one of the company founders, brings to the table over 30 years of business management and advisory experience.
He also works alongside clients to establish their desired needs in regards to website design or development, and then aligns it with their long term business goals. At the time Aaron found himself working in a large IT department, while also running his own web development business on the side. When Aaron started to build websites for Evan’s clients the two quickly realised how their talents complimented one another. They also recognised that website owners wanted to be empowered to make changes to their own website content without having to pay a development company a fee to ensure this happened.
Users could now manage their entire Enterprise with its in depth membership, e zine and event management tools. This application was the start of our continued presence as a reputable application developer in the financial market locally and overseas. Over the following years, often through word of mouth, more large membership organisations approached Expert for help with creating and managing their websites and complex membership databases. By the end of 2014 Expert had helped build the online capabilities of thousands of organisations, from small one person businesses to local body councils and government departments.
Today Aaron and Evan, along with Expert’s growing team of specialists, continue to discover just how well their varying and diverse skills complement each other when it comes to developing, designing and well, almost anything else that’s necessary to create and manage exceptional websites.
