What you should know about Fairy Dance, Musical Magic for Little Tots
Lokyee is a passionate dancer who started classical ballet at the age of 4, at Paula Hunt Dance Now Wellington Dance and Performing Arts Academy. Parents are requested not to bring unsettled babies into the studio if feasible as it is important that the children can hear the music of their class without distraction. Fairy Dance invites preschoolers to experience the ecstasy of music, movement and dance in a gentle, holistic environment. These 30 minute classes embody Ore school ballet dance fundamentals in combination with musical play.
Behind four decades dancing, performing, teaching and mentoring dance and drama to children of all ages she became passionate about designing a program that’s not only exquisite laughter but develops confidence, enriches a child’s creativity and instill a mighty sense of belief in themselves. Parents are responsible for ensuring their child is physically and medically fit for the class and during the class parents are responsible at all times for their child’s and their own personal safety. Tracey has coached and mentored many young dancers to accomplish their goals in RAD exams, concerts, and competitions. Parents are welcome to join in the fun, and partake in the classes with their child if they wish! Parents may also watch the classes seated in the studio, provided quiet is observed so that the children can concentrate.

Later she directed her own Dance School and also Fairy Parties and discovered that her love of small tots, storytelling and dance could combine to create a dynamic, interactive, imaginative dance program for children aged 2 5 years.
