As Chief Operating Officer, Shirley is Harmonic’s leading analytical consultant and manages our highly qualified data science team. She ensures that the right resources are available to meet a client’s brief and deliver a project on time. Shirley joined Harmonic in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science First Class Honours in Statistics and Mathematics, and a Business Degree in Operations Management both from the University of Auckland. She won various student awards including Annual Best Student in Science, the New Zealand Aluminium Smelters prize for Statistics, and the Flowd’s Memorial Prize for most distinguished student in the Science Faculty.
These attributes and her passion for helping clients find solutions to whatever business challenges they have, have gained her a reputation for getting things done’. Drawing on her analytical and scientific expertise, and extensive business experience, Shirley does what it takes’ to deliver a client’s project to an exceptional standard. As Chief Analytics Officer, Lisa provides analytical leadership at Harmonic. She leads specific analytics projects, working alongside the COO to ensure Harmonic data science teams retain standards of integrity while delivering projects on time and within budget.
She has a prominent role in business development and communications for Harmonic. A highly qualified data scientist, Lisa has a PhD in Statistics and a Bachelor of Science First Class Honours from the University of Auckland. As Chief Executive and owner of Harmonic, Phil is responsible for the day to day running of the business. With a Bachelor of Business Studies from Massey University, Phil has extensive senior management experience across New Zealand, Asia, the US and UK. He is a natural collaborator who enjoys developing and managing relationships with clients, and creating partnerships across industry and universities.
He feels privileged to work alongside Harmonic's talented team of data scientists as they solve complex business challenges for organisations across a range of sectors. Murray held a variety of senior positions within Telecom New Zealand including Chief Technology Officer until September 2005 . Murray has a Doctorate Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Canterbury. During his career Murray has received a number of awards, including a Confederation of British Industries Scholarship, a Harkness Fellowship, the IPENZ Supreme Technical Award for Engineering Achievers in 2004 and the Chairman's Award at the Telecommunication User Association of New Zealand Innovation Awards for 2005. Murray enjoys travel, amateur radio, woodworking, walking and entertaining.

Lee leads the Technical team at Harmonic, working with software developers, statisticians and subject matter experts. His key responsibilities include understanding requirements and technical systems, software design and engineering. Lee has a Masters in Computer Science and Software Engineering from the University of Canterbury.
This includes brand management, sponsorship, digital channels and customer communications. She enjoys seeing the benefits of data analytics in action, and bringing customer stories to life in both written and visual form.
