Our experience covers the packed range of swimming pool projects, from home pools to large municipal facilities. Behind meaningful structural strengthening the complete first floor was constructed fresh on the ingenious flooring. Mark enjoys all aspects of the architectural profession, taking immense satisfaction from seeing initial concept design thrive to built form and occupied with the different range of people within the construction industry necessary to make this possible. Recent highlights include involvement as project architect on a important extension to an existing aquatic sports facility, the roll out of fresh fuel stations for a important commercial client, and involvement in a large apartment development.
He has a special interest in environmental initiatives, affordable architecture and the vernacular and enjoys active with a range of people throughout the project design and delivery process. My professional experience is grounded in the design of commercial buildings such as Hotel and Hospitality projects. Only the original definite walls of the ground floor and the first floor structure and flooring were retained. The clever bungalow was renovated to add back in creative detailing and moldings.
The interior provides a range of spaces and interior environments for customers to enjoy. Our portfolio of retail projects range from small fit out works through to supermarket and shopping center developments. The private bedroom and bathroom spaces are confined to the ingenious bungalow, and a wide corridor connects the front door with the fresh living and kitchen areas, and out to the sunny north courtyard. The Mary knoll Chapel redevelopment was awarded the 2013 NZ IA Gisbourne Fawkes Bay Architecture Award Little Project Category.
The Karori Community Swimming Pool forms an imperative piece of Wellington City Council’s community leisure facility network. He has been involved in a range of diverse project types from little residential alterations to larger fresh commercial projects. Stripping the interior linings and exposing the original brick walls and new structural insertions provides a casual backdrop for this customary style bar. With over 15 years experience he has worked as Project Architect on a expansive range of residential, hospitality and commercial projects and enjoys active with clients, consultants and contractors to see projects successfully through to completion. The design removes the sunroof, and adds a new new bungalow’ form to the rear of the creative 1930’s form
