At Island Bay Childcare, we base our transition programmed on children’s interests and building on what the already know and can do. Te Ch wiki is the curriculum document for Hasty Childhood Education in Fresh Zealand. Early Childhood trained and registered teacher who has experience busy with 6 months to 5 year used children in a day protection environment. We present a program based on integrating activities and learning opportunities that prepare children for school through their daily routines and rituals.
We yield fully trained EC Capable Teachers who are nurturing and loving, with a passion for children and who have a commitment to early childhood development and education and encourage for parents, family and whanau. Life has now lead me to Wellington and I am so turbulent to be portion of the team here at Island Bay Childcare. During this time you can discuss your child’s needs, learn about our early childhood programmed based on Te Whariki, our policies and an opportunity to confront with our teachers. In this program we promote independence and preparation for school, we foster children from 4. 5 years to bring their own lunch box one day per week on a Friday or their final booked day of the week.
Working with children brings such a variety and excitement to your conventional day and I couldn’t imagine working anywhere else! I started busy as a teacher in Johnsonville Childcare center and was later on invited to unite in Island Bay Childcare center team in 2011. I am very passionate about developing polite partnerships with children and their whanau, focused on children’s instinctive development and providing learning opportunities based around children’s interests, urges and developmental needs. I love being inspired by children’s interests to create exciting new learning opportunities. I have been working here at the center for almost 4 years now and love each and every day. When you enroll your child in Island Bay Childcare, your family will be appointed a profile teacher and a key person to promote you during your settling in period.
Chad Mile faille, My name is Christina and I am the center Director here at Island Bay Childcare I manage Mira mar and Island Bay Childcare. Reach and enroll at Island Bay Childcare center, where your child’s learning will receive flight!. I love spending time with children and their families and developing the relationships that will precede to real and significant learning for all of us. Children’s learning and development are fostered by building on what children bring to early childhood education including family whanau, culture and language. My passion has everlasting been in Premature Childhood Education and guiding children in becoming optimistic lifelong learners.
Since then, I have been occupied with Island Bay Childcare Team in providing the superior concern and education we can produce for our tamariki and their families. I have been a part of the Island Bay childcare team for two months now whilst also studying towards attaining a Degree in Early Childhood. During 2015 our center teaching team completed a self review on our Transition to School Program
