What you should know about MosAic MIS Ltd Wellington
We're a market leading software company providing Management Information Systems to the printing, packaging and label industries. More than 30 years have passed since Tharstern was formed in 1984 by Keith Harrison, who at that time was working as a Financial Director for a printing company. He started the company from home and subsidised it whilst still working as a consultant. In 1991, Keith McMurtrie joined the company, bringing to the company a unique blend of commercial and technical drive, resulting in a number of firsts’ in the industry.
In 2014 Tharstern was bought in a management buy out from the family of the original founder, who set up Tharstern 30 years ago. Technical Director Antony Lord, Sales Director Lee Ward, and Managing Director Keith McMurtrie acquired a significant ownership stake in the business and retain direct day to day running. Guy heads up our development team and it's his job to make sure that our software development projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard. Neil is part of our support team, adept with server and network queries thanks to his background in IT. Rowan is one of our specialist training consultants and has previous experience as an independent business consultant specialising in end to end MIS installation and project management. Jennifer is based in the Greater Atlanta area and is a Pre sales Consultant for Tharstern Inc. She started out as an HP Indigo Press Operator and has over 20 years of experience in the printing industry.
For the last eight years, he has run a consultancy company that specialised in process improvements. He was a member of the Kodak EMS project as lead consultant in three beta sites and has also spent eight years as a senior application consultant and professional services manager for Programmed Solutions PSI system. Keith is one of our consultants and travels around the country to train our customers on using the system. A background in design, business development and print, transitioned into print MIS technology through various roles in NZ, Australia and the U. Our Installation engineer who travels the length and breadth of the UK installing our systems.
Technical Director and one of Tharstern New Zealand’s original founders having previously started out in software programming and working hands on with ERP solutions. Bob heads up our US team and overseas the operational activities of Tharstern Inc. Keith's knowledge of the industry and our products is second to none making him the perfect leader!. Since then he has worked in print production, business management, key account management and he is now enjoying the challenging and varied role of Tharstern technical support on the Tharstern ANZ Support Desk. Originally trained in Graphic Design, her passion for all things printing and how they work led her through several roles within the industry before joining Tharstern Australia.
Peter is one of our consultants and travels around the country to train our customers on using the system. Phil is our longest serving Consultant and aswell as training our customers in the UK and abroad he liases with our Development team on new projects!. Roy heads up our training team and is responsible for making sure that our customers are happy and receive the correct training. Craig is part of our Pre Sales team and with an in depth knowledge of the system he travels the UK demonstrating our products to customers.

Dale is part of our 'first response' support team making him key to fixing any support queries first time. Stephen is our Support manager and his team manages 14,00 support calls a year Always calm, you can be assured that any problem you have will be dealt with efficently
