Marsden is a community, a positive, supportive, family where excellence is expected and encouraged. The activity programme is designed by our Marsden staff and is overseen by the Director of the Primary School. Siblings of current students and the children of Marsden staff are also welcome to enrol in the programme. Marsden Schools prepare children and young people for lives of meaning, accomplishment and genuine happiness.
Students of all ages travel from all parts of the Greater Wellington region to attend Marsden Karori. Snapper Green is for all children at primary, intermediate and some secondary school years up to 16 years . An Excellence in Sports Scholarship from Marsden is the perfect opportunity to gain a quality education and to develop your sports skills in a high performance environment. We achieve that ultimate goal because we know, and can support every pupil personally. At Marsden, children and young people are nurtured, encouraged and respected.
A year later Marsden took over management of the co educational school that had 24 students, renaming it Samuel Marsden Collegiate School Whitby. We offer a range of scholarships at either Karori or Whitby for students new to Marsden. The Mihingare Anglican Secondary School Scholarships are for Maori secondary school students who demonstrate financial need, leadership qualities potential and a satisfactory educational background, and who will benefit from additional financial support for their secondary schooling. Scholarship applications for Years 10, 11 and 12 at Marsden Karori for 2017 are still open.
Marsden Whitby is rare in New Zealand education a young and rapidly growing independent co educational school for boys and girls from Year 7 to 13. Marsden Whitby and the NZ Coach Service run bus services to provide transport to our students during the school year. On each route, the bus will collect Marsden Whitby students only and then only those who are in our school uniform unless we inform them of a planned mufti day. Marsden is pleased to offer Marsden After School Care MASC for our Year 1 8 students and their siblings at our Karori Campus. Marsden invites applications for the position of Enrolment Registrar at Samuel Marsden Collegiate School, a leading private girls' school in Karori.

It moved to Karori and was given its present name commemorating the first Anglican missionary to New Zealand. Pupils of diverse religious beliefs are welcomed, tolerance of difference is encouraged and diversity celebrated.
In 2004 David Bradford started up Whitby Independent College on the old Duck Creek Golf Course. A year later Marsden took over management of the co educational school that had 24 students, renaming it Samuel Marsden Collegiate School Whitby.
